About Us

Our Story

Wetlands are nature’s hidden treasure, storing vast amounts of carbon, protecting against floods, and supporting diverse ecosystems. However, they face growing threats from human activities and climate change. We founded Earthway Alliance to address these challenges head-on. Through collaboration with local communities, we restore degraded wetlands and equip people with the skills to conserve these vital ecosystems for generations to come.

From tree planting drives to wetland restoration initiatives, we are proud to have positively impacted biodiversity and livelihoods. Our journey has been filled with learning, collaboration, and a growing passion for making a difference.

Our Impact in Action and Testimonials

Restoring Wetlands, Transforming Lives Earthway Alliance is actively working with local communities to restore degraded wetlands across Baringo, Elgeyo Marakwet, Nakuru, and Uasin Gishu counties. Our mission is to improve access to clean water, boost local biodiversity, and build climate-resilient ecosystems that benefit both people and nature. Through participatory restoration efforts, we are empowering communities to reclaim and protect these vital ecosystems. From replanting native vegetation to establishing sustainable water management practices, our initiatives are rooted in collaboration and long-term impact. "Earthway Alliance, through Amos the CEO, has taught our community many practical ways of restoring wetlands. Today, we have safer and cleaner water for our village," shared one of the respected community elders. This is just one example of how knowledge-sharing and grassroots leadership are transforming lives. We believe in the power of collective action to create lasting environmental change. 🌿 Explore our gallery below to see highlights of our ongoing work — from community trainings and wetland mapping to tree planting and local youth involvement in conservation. reforestation, and biodiversity restoration:

Our reforestation campaigns have successfully mobilized thousands of tree plantings, made possible through the generous support of donors, the dedication of local community members, and the active participation of students and volunteers. These collective efforts are helping to restore degraded landscapes, combat climate change, and enhance ecosystem services. In addition to tree planting, we have prioritized community training and capacity building to promote the adoption of climate-resilient agricultural practices. These trainings empower farmers to increase productivity while protecting natural resources. We are also actively engaged in the restoration of wetland ecosystems, which are critical habitats for biodiversity, natural water filtration, and climate regulation. By working hand-in-hand with local stakeholders, we aim to build sustainable, nature-based solutions that support both people and the planet.

Mission

At Earthway Alliance, we are dedicated to preserving and restoring wetland ecosystems as a nature-based solution to combat climate change (SDG 13), protect biodiversity (SDG 15), and enhance water quality and availability for communities (SDG 6).
